You can now check out all our Doctoral positions to join the D-CARBONIZE network aiming at using circular chemistry approaches to design and build recyclable bioplastics using biomass. We are looking for 12 Doctoral Candidates who want to become future leaders in the field of sustainable polymers and depolymerization strategies, biocarbon valorisation and innovative catalytic strategies.

Are you one of them? D-CARBONIZE will offer to recruited DCs the possibility to participate in a transversal, innovative training programme based on the principles of Innovative Doctoral Training, which will enable them to become creative, critical, interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral researchers.

An extensive network-wide training programme offering courses in the areas of science and technology, business, as well as generic, transferable skills

The opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team within a European-wide consortium of leading high-education institutions, research centres and companies that form an innovation community offering excellent research and training both in R&D and entrepreneurship.

The doctoral students will be able to defend a PhD thesis at the end of their individual projects (obtaining two PhD titles in two different universities/countries). Each PhD student will be hosted in two different host institutions (different countries) and will receive additional training by undergoing relevant secondments at the industrial partners’ facilities.

With the wide range of skills and experience gained in the D-CARBONIZE project, doctoral candidates will have broadened their career perspectives and increased their employability, whether they decide to pursue a career in academia or industry.
