📍 University of Liège, Campus Sart-Tilman, Quartier Agora | 🗓️ 10–11 September 2025
We are excited to invite you to the workshop “Carbon Dioxide and Biobased Chemistries for Producing Greener Polymers and Organics”, a two-day event dedicated to advances in CO₂-based technologies, sustainable polymers, flow chemistry and recycling innovations. This interdisciplinary program features academic talks, industry insights, and soft skills workshops.
The workshop takes place as part of the D-Carbonize School 2025, a full week of activities where doctoral candidates from the project will present their research, build connections, and engage with experts across academia and industry.
📅 Wednesday, 10 September
Theme: Bio-/CO₂-based Polymers & Recycling
Engage with leading researchers on the future of recyclable thermosets, vinyl polymer degradation, and novel CO₂-derived materials.
📅 Thursday, 11 September
Theme: CO₂, Biobased Chemistry & Flow Processes
Explore how CO₂ and biomass can feed a new generation of green chemicals and polymers, including flow reactor technology and industrial applications.
✔️ Talks by international experts from the University of Bordeaux, Wageningen, Antwerp, Namur, UCLouvain, UCLA, and industry leaders like Fairbrics, Corning AFR, and MateriaNova.
✔️ Dedicated soft skills sessions on scientific writing, career development, and grant applications.
